From April 27th to May 1st, IPI President Terje Rød-Larsen visited Mongolia where he met with senior officials and signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) between IPI and the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Mongolia.

In the past few centuries, the role of the Asia-Pacific was diminished in its global influence. This is about to change. By 2030, the region's share of the world’s GDP is predicted to be 67%. It is currently home to more than half the global population, and has the fastest growing economies in the world. By all accounts, the 21st century will be the "Asia-Pacific century."
