La Contribution de l’ONU au Renforcement des Capacitiés Africaines de Maintien de la Paix

La présente note résume les débats tenus entre une quarantaine de représentants de missions permanentes auprès de l'ONU, du Département des opérations de maintien de la paix (DOMP), du Département des affaires politiques (DPA), de l'Union européenne, de l'OTAN et de quelques grands pays donateurs au cours d'une reunion organisée à New York le 20 février 2006.

Cette manifestation s'inscrivait dans le cadre d'une série de dialogues entre praticiens et décideurs politiques visant à appuyer la mise en oeuvre des décisions prises par les États Membres à l'issue du Sommet mondial de septembre 2005.
