Building Effective Partnerships: Improving the Relationship Between Internal and External Actors in Post-Conflict Countries

This conference document is the culmination of the Peacebuilding Forum, a joint effort of the WSP and the International Peace Academy [now International Peace Institute]. The aim of the forum is to deepen understanding of the difficulties in the relationship between internal and external actors and to explore practical ways to make their interaction more effective and therefore more beneficial to fragile and postconflict societies.
