This report examines the relationships among peace, security, and development and the importance of regional and international relationships in facing the challenges of NEPAD’s implementation.
On April 27-29, 2006, the International Peace Institute, together with the Centre for Policy Studies (CPS), Johannesburg, and the Africa Peace Forum (APF), Nairobi, convened a major international conference in Nairobi to assess the progress of the New Partnership for Africa’s Development (NEPAD) five years after its establishment.
