Foreign Ministers, Officials, IPI Meet on Middle East

On April 26, 2010, IPI, together with the governments of Luxembourg and Spain, hosted a ministerial working dinner in Senningen, Luxembourg on the way forward for the Middle East peace process. The dinner was co-chaired by IPI President Terje Rød-Larsen and Foreign Ministers Jean Asselborn of Luxembourg and Miguel Moratinos of Spain.

The meeting, which was hosted under the Chatham House rule of non-attribution, is part of a series of high-level dinner conversations to provide an informal and confidential forum for foreign ministers from the Middle East and Europe to discuss recent developments in the region and their implications on prospects of reaching peace in the Middle East.

The dinner featured an eminent group including the Foreign Ministers of Austria, Denmark, Egypt, Jordan, Luxembourg, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, the Secretaries-General of the Arab League and of the Palestinian Liberation Organization and other high-level officials and experts on the Middle East.
