Staff Emmanuelle Cousin
Emmanuelle Cousin serves as the Program Coordinator for the Executive Office at IPI in New York. In this capacity, she supports the President and CEO, contributing to outreach activities, strategic advising, and research efforts.
Prior to joining the Executive Office, Emmanuelle conducted research for IPI’s Brian Urquhart Center for Peace Operations. She also consulted for the United Nations University-Center for Policy Research, researching the role of regional and subregional organizations in conflict prevention. She has prior work experience as a journalist in Lebanon and interned in the Office of the Director-General at UNESCO in Paris.
Emmanuelle holds a dual Master of International Affairs from Columbia SIPA and Sciences Po Paris. Of French origin, she’s lived in England, Iran, and Lebanon, and is a fluent speaker of English, French, and Farsi.
Her interests are around conflict mediation, multilateral peace operations, the UN system, and the UN Security Council.
