Annie Rubin develops social media campaigns and digital communications strategies for @ipinst communications. She manages the IPI social media editorial calendar, live-tweets IPI’s 120+ yearly events, and creates graphics and short videos for social.

Annie works closely with program staff to draft web summaries of IPI events, and oversees the web style guide. She leads analytics reporting for IPI social media to make data-driven decisions on digital content.

The communications team works closely with the IPI Global Observatory editorial board to promote IPI’s timely analysis across all platforms. Annie is responsible for managing the daily operation of IPI’s social media presence on @ipinstGO and assisting in editing pieces for the website. She joined IPI in 2018.

Prior to IPI, Annie worked as an intern in the UN Department of Peacekeeping Operations’ office on preventing and responding to sexual exploitation and abuse.

She earned a Bachelor’s degree from McGill University where she was Editor of McGill’s Hispanic studies journal and studied Spanish, French, German, and Russian.
